The Problem
A new visual identity was needed to help Sexual Health Victoria feel trusted, approachable, and credible within the reproductive and sexual health space. The identity needed to support open, taboo-free conversations while building on the brand strategy developed in-house.

Rationale

I was involved in developing a refreshed visual identity for Sexual Health Victoria, formerly Family Planning Victoria, a primary healthcare provider focused on reproductive and sexual health education, care, and advocacy. The logo uses a speech bubble to symbolise the importance of open conversations around sexual and reproductive health, while also referencing an open door to safe, frank, and judgement-free support. Building on the strategic foundations already developed in-house, the identity was designed to enhance the organisation’s credibility while making the brand feel more accessible, supportive, and human for people seeking trusted sexual health information and resources.
